Still juggling paper, a whiteboard, a group text, three screenshots, and a shared calendar? That's exactly who this is for.
Three steps. That's the whole thing.
Send a link
Add your shifts and the coverage you need, then send each person a one-tap link by text or email.
Staff tap availability
They open the link on their phone (no app to install, no password to forget) and mark available, preferred, or can't.
Get a draft + the why
Schedule's Up fills the shifts and tells you exactly what's off: who's double-booked, what's understaffed.
It does one thing. On purpose.
Workforce software wants to run your whole business. You just want the week sorted out. Schedule's Up is deliberately small, so there's nothing to roll out, train on, or fight with.
- No payroll
- No HR suite
- No app for staff
- No logins for staff
- No onboarding project

Questions, answered
The short version of everything a busy manager asks before trying it.
- What is Schedule's Up?
- Schedule's Up is simple employee scheduling software for small teams. A manager adds the week's shifts, texts or emails each person a link, and staff tap their availability on their phone. Schedule's Up then drafts a schedule and explains any conflicts. That's the whole product, on purpose.
- Do my employees need to download an app?
- No. Staff never install anything and never create accounts. They get a private link by text or email, open it in their phone's browser, and tap the shifts they can work. There are no passwords to forget and nothing to train anyone on.
- How do staff submit their availability?
- Each person gets their own one-tap link. They mark each shift as available, preferred, or can't work, and can leave a short note. You watch responses land in real time instead of chasing replies across five group chats.
- How does the draft schedule get built?
- Once availability is in, one click fills the week against the coverage you asked for. The draft comes with the why: who's double-booked, which shifts are understaffed, and what to fix. You stay in charge and can change anything before it goes out.
- How much does it cost?
- Three flat monthly plans: Starter at $25/mo for up to 15 employees, Pro at $49/mo for up to 50, and Enterprise at $129/mo for up to 200 across multiple locations. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and there's no charge until day 14.
- Can I text the schedule to my employees?
- Yes. Publish the week and every person gets their own schedule link by SMS or email, whichever you have on file. You can also print a clean copy for the back wall or export the whole week as an .ics file for any calendar app.
- Does it do payroll, time clocks, or HR?
- No, and that's deliberate. Schedule's Up builds the week's schedule and gets it to your people. There's no payroll module, no HR suite, and no data migration project to run.
- How long does setup take?
- About an afternoon. Add your shifts and coverage, send everyone their link, and publish when the draft looks right. There's no onboarding call and no implementation project, because there's nothing to implement.
- What kinds of teams use it?
- Small hourly teams that live and die by the weekly schedule: restaurants, cafés, bars, retail shops, salons, spas, gyms, and small clinics. If your week runs on shifts and your staff are on their phones, it fits.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes, in one click from your billing page. There's no phone call and no retention script. Cancel inside the 14-day trial and you pay nothing at all. Your published schedules stay exportable either way.
